Dear Customer:
Your Water Continues to
Meet Stringent Standards
Our annual water quality
report shows that your drinking water continues to meet or
improve upon increasingly stringent state and federal quality
standards. This report includes results of intensive testing
conducted during 2002. We are proud of the results, which assure
you of the high quality water that we deliver to you. Contained
in the report are detailed test results and other water quality
information.
Water Comes From
Excellent Sources
Among our excellent sources
of water is Lake Cachuma, which provides more than half our
supply. Lake Cachuma water is treated at the regional Cater
Water Treatment Plant in Santa Barbara. Jameson Lake and Fox and
Alder Creeks also provide us with water, which comes to us via
the Doulton Tunnel and is treated at our own state-of-the-art
facilities. In addition, we operate groundwater wells and have
access to State Project water for use during periods of high
demand and drought.
We Are Committed to Water
Quality
To ensure that your drinking
water continues to meet the high standards set by county, state
and federal regulators, our staff of water professionals
monitors the water quality 24-hours a day, seven-days a week.
