Montecito Water District Board President, Jan
Abel, announced that at its meeting of November
10, 2003 the Montecito Water District Board of
Directors unanimously appointed Mr. Robert L.
Roebuck as General Manager.
Mr. Roebuck will be
joining the Montecito Water District on December
8, 2003.
Mr. Roebuck has served
as the Water Resources Manager for the City of
Santa Barbara for the past 17 years. He
has been responsible for the City's water
resources system, which serve over 100,000
people, and include all water distribution,
water treatment and wastewater collection and
treatment. Mr. Roebuck is a graduate of
the University of Maryland and is a Registered
Civil Engineer in California and Florida.
Mr. Roebuck and his
family have been District customers and
residents of Montecito for 20 years.
