1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, DETERMINATION OF QUORUM

President Morgan called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.

Directors Present:

Directors Jan E. Abel, Samuel Frye, W. Douglas Morgan, and Richard Shaikewitz

Directors Absent:

Director Larry Wilson

Staff Present:

Tom Mosby, General Manager

Toni Bailey, Business Manager

Lois Werner, Recording Secretary

Guest Present

None

2. PUBLIC FORUM

There were no members of the public present who wished to speak on items not on the agenda.

3. 1998A Bond REfinancing Update

Mr. Mosby and Ms Bailey presented this item and answered Directors’ questions.

4. Meeting of the Montecito Water District Financing Corporation

The meeting of the MWDFC was convened at 9:16 a.m.

The meeting of the MWDFC was adjourned to the MWD Board of Directors’ meeting at 9:25 a.m.

5. ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business to come before the MWD Board of Directors, the meeting was adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
