CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

The meeting was called to order by President Abel at 9:00 A.m.

PUBLIC FORUM No member of the public spoke.	SECTION 2

GENERAL MANAGER’S REPORT PROPOSED FINAL MWD FOCUSED ASSESSMENT PLAN (FAP) PRESENTATION BY R.W. BECK Manager Adjarian introduced the R. W. Beck project team. Mr. Paul Lanspery and Mr. John Christopher presented the proposed final MWD Focused Assessment Plan (FAP). Mr. Lanspery, Mr. Christopher, and Mr. Adjarian reviewed the FAP with the Board, and answered questions from Directors. Several amendments to the report were suggested. Mr. Adjarian noted that, since the FAP is a preliminary conceptual planning level report, additional, detailed engineering studies will be required in the future for each of the proposed projects mentioned within the FAP. Following detailed Board discussion, a motion was made by Director Bachman, seconded by Director Puddicombe, and unanimously carried to accept the FAP as amended, with the caveat that it be used only for general information and as a planning tool that will not commit MWD to any future specific actions. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the MWD Board of Directors, the meting was adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
