MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
of the
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MONTECITO WATER DISTRICT
held at the
DISTRICT BOARD ROOM

583 SAN YSIDRO ROAD, MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA
at 9:00 a.m. on MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 1997

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

The meeting was called to order by President Muller at 9:05 a.m.

Those in attendance were:

Present:	Directors Campbell, Muller, Puddicombe and Wilson
Absent:	Director Abel
Also Present:	Chip Wullbrandt, District Counsel Tom Mosby, Engineering Manager Evalyn Kerman, Business Manager Cathy Muneio, Secretary Sophie Calvin

PUBLIC FORUM

During public forum Sophie Calvin asked whether the Yaggy property would be subject to a future right of first refusal. Counsel Wullbrandt said that the right of first refusal had expired at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 1997.

CLOSED SESSION

The Board went into closed session at 9:15 a.m. When the Board returned to open session at 9:50 a.m. it was stated that the Board had given direction to its real estate negotiator to issue counter offers to the two buyers and authorize completion of a Certificate of Compliance, along with certain survey, soils and flood reports.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 a.m.
