1.  CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, DETERMINATION OF QUORUM       

President Drewry called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.

Directors Present:

W.W. Drewry, Jan Abel, Robert W. Puddicombe, Larry Wilson

Directors Absent:

Robert Edmonston

Staff Present:

Robert L. Roebuck, General Manager

Chip Wullbrandt, Counsel

Charles Hamilton, General Manager, CVWD

2.  PUBLIC FORUM 

No members of the public were present.

3.  Business and Finance

A.                 Recess to Closed Session Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(A) Pending Litigation: Ocean View Estates Homeowners’ Association V MONTECITO Water District, Et Al.; Case No. 1067147

The Board adjourned to closed session at 2:01 p.m. to discuss the above captioned item.

The Board reconvened to open session at 2:40 p.m.  President Drewry reported that the Board authorized settlement of claim for attorney fees and cost in the lawsuit of Ocean View Estates Homeowners Association, Inc. v Montecito Water District, et al (Superior Court Case No. 1067147) (Santa Barbara County).

4.  ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business to come before the MWD Board of Directors, the meeting was adjourned at  2:40 p.m.
