ater
is measured by a device called a "water
meter", which range in size from 3/4" to
6". Water meters are similar to reading an
odometer in a car.
To find out how much water was used
since last month’s meter reading, just subtract the
reading on last month’s water bill from today’s
meter reading.
Meters can also be used to detect and
measure leaks and/or plumbing problems on a property.
