December Billing Adjustments

Due to the holiday meter reading schedule, the December billing cycle was 35 days versus an average 30 day period. In recognition of the extended meter read period, the District Board of Directors voted in December to authorize pro-rata billing adjustments to customers that incur resulting penalty charges.

Nicholas Turner (above) has been selected as the General Manager of Montecito Water District effective February 2, 2016 to replace General Manager Tom Mosby who recently announced his retirement. Alert the District if You Have a Medical Need Requiring Extra Precautions Be Taken Before Your Water May Be Shut Off.

District customer service technicians turn off customers’ water at the meter if we identify an on-going loss of water and the customer cannot be reached. This is done to save water and protect property.
