CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

The meeting was called to order by President Puddicombe at 8:30 a.m.

Guests Present:	Glen Hille, Boyle Engineering Rusty Fairly, Councilman, City of Santa Barbara Tim Wilder, Assistant to Rusty Fairly Bob Rauch, Facilitator

There were no comments made during public forum.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

A Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Montecito Water District was held to continue the discussion on various issues connected with the Ortega Reservoir from the Special Meeting of December 20, 2000. Bob Rauch gave an overview on the meeting.

DISCUSSION OF HISTORICAL/REGIONAL WATER ISSUES AFFECTING MWD SERVICE AREA

Chip Wullbrandt reviewed the history of water in this region and the issues that have affected water rights.

PRESENTATION BY MR. GLEN HILLE, BOYLE ENGINEERING CORPORATION REGARDING UPDATE ON SOUTH COAST CONDUIT ISSUES

Glen Hille updated the Board on the status of the City’s Sheffield Reservoir Project relative to the South Coast Conduit.
