at 2:00 P.M. on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2000

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL

SECTION 1

The meeting was called to order by President Puddicombe at 3:00 p.m.
Those in attendance were:

Directors Present:	Directors Abel, Bachman, Drewry, Puddicombe, Wilson
Directors Absent:	None
Staff Present:	Fred Adjarian, General Manager Evalyn Kerman, Business Manager Jerry Paley, Finance/Computer Specialist Chip Wullbrandt, District Counsel Martha Haney, Secretary
Guests Present:	None


PUBLIC FORUM There were no comments from the members of the public during public forum.	SECTION 2

BUSINESS AND FINANCE President Puddicombe opened the Board Workshop at 3:05 p.m. Manager Adjarian noted that the Finance Committee had met on October 11, 2000 to discuss this item and recommended that the Board hold a public hearing on November 28, 2000 to consider increasing water rates 2.5% and service charges 5.5%. Director Wilson and Drewry gave a brief review of the discussion at the Finance Committee. Manager Adjarian reviewed with the Board the materials presented and answered questions. Following detailed discussion, the Board concurred with staff’s recommendation to hold a public hearing on November 28, 2000.	SECTION 3

ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the MWD Board of Directors, the meeting was adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
