Intensive
Treatment
Program
More than half of Montecito's
surface water supply comes through Lake Cachuma, and is treated by the City of Santa
Barbara.
The rest of the surface water is from Jameson Lake, Fox and Alder Creeks and Doulton
Tunnel, and is treated in our own state-of-the-art treatment facilities. During droughts
or periods of high demand, we rely on groundwater to make up for any shortfall.
