Facility Improvements Underway

Montecito’s $14 million program of facility improvements continues to focus on upgrading the community's water system, to assure that it will provide reliable water service into the future.

Highest Quality

Montecito Water District is installing the highest quality ductile iron pipe with an expected lifetime of over 100 years. Ductile iron is exceptionally resistant to breaks, earthquakes and other problems.

Upper Toro Canyon Completed

The District recently completed work in the Toro Canyon area, replacing a 1940s era 2-inch diameter galvanized pipe with a new 8-inch diameter ductile iron pipe. Having recently completed installing
