Convenient Payment Options Help Customers

Every customer receives a monthly water bill. To provide even more convenient service, the District offers several convenient payment options.

No Worry
P
ayment options help avoid the District’s 8% late charge and eliminate one more thing to deal with each month. Billing options also eliminate concerns about what to do when you are out of town and the bill comes due.

Automatic Payment
C
ustomers may arrange for their bank to automatically pay their water bill through the Direct Pay Program. Payment is made on the 20th of each month (or on the next business day if the 20th falls on a weekend or bank holiday).

Pre-Pay
Customers can pay ahead for any number of months. Advance payments show up as a credit on water bills

Seven Ways to a Beautiful Garden
Using Less Water

Former Board President Carol Valentine showing the Water District’s water conserving demonstration garden. Feel free to visit the garden for landscape ideas and to pick up literature on gardening and water conserving practices.

Questions about the program should be directed to Fred Adjarian, General Manager, at 969-2271.

Wise water use is like having your cake and eating it too. The following simple tasks can help lower water use and at the same time make landscapes more beautiful and easier to maintain:
Plant in the spring to take advantage of the natural growing cycle.

Choose lower water-use plants. Many attractive species of native plants are available.

Group plants by thirstiness to allow for more efficient watering of plants that require different amounts of water.

Remember to turn off timers if it rains.

Add a two- to four-inch layer of mulch. Mulch is not only attractive, but also keeps down weeds, insulates the soil, and reduces moisture loss.

Get a free water audit from the District. Just fill out a simple form. An expert will analyze your water use and suggest ways to economize.
