Smart Meter Program Implementation is Underway! (March, 2022)

Customer water meters were upgraded in 2020 as part of the District’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program. In addition to the meter replacement, the District has installed a separate transmitter that will send data to receivers by radio (aka the “smart” part of the meter). The Smart Meter Program is expected to be fully functional in late 2022, pending delivery of the data collectors -- delayed due to the ongoing global chip shortage. District customers will receive future communications regarding the rollout of the Smart Meter Program. For instructions on reading the new meters download the PDF or go the meter reading page on this web site.
