Smart Meter Program Implementation is Underway! (January, 2021)

Customer water meters were upgraded in 2020 as part of the District’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program. In addition to the meter replacement, the District will install a separate transmitter that will send data to receivers by radio (aka the “smart” part of the meter). The Smart Meter Program is expected to be fully functional in late 2021, pending subject to county permit approvals. District customers will receive future communications regarding the rollout of the Smart Meter Program.
