Smart Meters
To maximize efficient water use, the District's water meters are "smart. " Implemented in 2022-23 as part of the Capital Improvements Program, these meters make the most of current technology to provide us and our customers with the powerful tools that can help manage water use.
The meters are paired with WaterSmart, a computer program providing customers with individual access to their account and water usage information, and the capability to set and receive alerts for unusual activity.
To realize the full benefit of "Smart Meters" customers will need to:
- LOG IN Register online using account number and zip code.
- SIGN UP FOR ALERTS Customize your water use settings and communication preferences to get notified about potential leaks.
Program features include:
- SAVING Track your daily water use and find resources for efficient water use.
- BILLING View current and past bills; pay online.
