Alert the District if You Have a Medical Need Requiring Extra Precautions Be Taken Before Your Water May Be Shut Off.

District customer service technicians turn off customers’ water at the meter if we identify an on-going loss of water and the customer cannot be reached. This is done to save water and protect property.

If the customer cannot be reached by phone, a door-hanger is left at the site, as well as phone messages on all numbers in District records. Service personnel are always on call and can return to restore water service whenever the customer may need it.

If you have a medical need that could be compromised if your water were to be shut off, please inform the District and provide proof of the medical need by calling (805) 969-2271. Staff will put a notation in your account to use extra caution before turning off your water meter without your consent.
